With moving servers, it's inevitable there will be minor configuration differences that cause problems with transferred sites. I am also tightening up our security routines. This helps cut down on spam (both the inbox and blog comment variety) but any time you do that, you have to expect a certain percentage of false positives. Your reports are the best way for me to know something's not right with your service.
Easystreet residents, if you're having any site or email issues, please open a support ticket, either from the Client Support Center or emailing support @ thanks.goodkarmahost.com to let me know. Support tickets will get you help faster than email to one of my personal accounts. I get a few hundred emails a day, and it's extremely easy for a single email to get buried or missed in the sea.
Detailed reports of what you are seeing, copying any error messages or forwarding any bounced email, plus an indication of what you were doing and the approximate time of occurances, is HUGELY helpful in fixing any issues that crop up. Those details are invaluable in troubleshooting and also help me fix your issues much more quickly, so thank you for sharing them.
Logging into your cPanel will also give you a security warning currently. The connection IS secure, but we're currently using a self-signed security certificate. We'll be transferring the commecial certificate soon to eliminate this error. The commercial certificate has more "street cred" than the self-signed server, certificate, but the encryption level and therefore the security level is exactly the same.
Thanks for your patience and support during the move, and thanks for being Good Karma Hosts. You are appreciated!
