| To make your site available to web visitors, once your hosting account is set up, put your files in the folder called "public_html." (This is the same folder on the server that also shows up as "www.") This can be done via your hosting control panel's file manage, although it's often done through your web editor or a program called an FTP client. FTP = File transfer protocol. Your default webpage should be called index.html, index.php, or index.htm. This tells the server this should be the domain's homepage. Add any imageas or other files required for your site, and, if you've edited your domain records to reflect GKH as your hosting company and it's had a chance to propogate throughout the internet (up to 48 hours), then you'll be able to access your site via your domain name.
