Suspensions
| There are generally two reasons a hosting account may be suspended:
- Nonpayment - After a 30 days, accounts not fully paid may be automaticially suspended. (More info on payment.) You will get overdue notices before your account is suspended. Please make sure your contact information is accurate and emails from GKH are allowed through any spam filtering software you use, so you can be sure to get important email about your services. Solution: Make a payment, and your account will be reactiviated.
- Excessive use of resources - This is most often caused by a script that is not working properly, a site that sees a sudden and very significant surge of traffic, or other unusual event. You will be notified immediately regarding any problems, but your account will be supsended as soon as it begins slowing down the server. (This is necessary to protect the functionality of all the other sites that share your server.) Again, making sure your contact information is correct helps avoid delays in resolving any problems and getting your site back online. Solution: Work with GKH to identify the source of the problem.
Thanks for your understanding.
